Step 2 of Viral Movie Promotion – Press Release & Pay Per Post

You all know about my new movie, What a Mother is Worth — that has tens of thousands of views already.
But, now I am exploring the question — how do you promote a viral movie? How do you get the thing to "go viral?"
What I mean by "go viral" is where something starts snowballing, getting an expoential increase in views, and attention from bloggers, press, digg, stumble upon, etc.
The movie has been sent out to emails lists, to my eZine, and to my contacts, and I’ve posted about the movie on Ali’s mastermind forum. Now, I’m moving on to phase two — promoting the movie to get attention from press and from bloggers.
I released a press release on prweb.com (cost was $120 to get the full web 2.0 functionality), and asked a few bloggers to post about the movie on Pay Per Post (where you pay bloggers $5 and up to post about your topic). Will there be a kick up in views? I’ll let you know …
